CALVIN AND LEAH SAY.......I DO!!

The wedding was beautiful!!! I did not get too many pictures, I didn't want to get in the way of their photographer!! Leah's dress was gorgeous and she was a Beautiful Bride! I wish I had gotten a picture of Calvin's face as he saw her walk down the isle to become his wife.....priceless and gave me chills at the same time....you could definitely see the love in his eyes.

I do believe everyone got out on the dance floor at least once......the kiddos of course stayed out there and they were adorable! OH!! and the bottom right my Dad was showing us he could skip!! lol He did do a better job than his Son n Law AKA Father of the Bride :)

FUN FIELD DAY FRIDAY............

Today KK had her field day while Nono had a water day. It was hard to be at both places at once, but I did get a couple of pictures of Nono (I had to sneak away just to get these!!) Nono came over to visit his little sister and even posed for a picture!!!

Fun with friends.......before Field Day began, the kiddos played on the colorful playground while all the tables were filled with water, mud, soap etc.... I used the pic of KK and her friend Chloe twice, but it is just one of my favorites!!!

Of course the first station KK chose was the WATER table (yes, she is my water baby) she will play in water for HOURS AND HOURS!!!

Then came the car wash, I think they didn't quite get the concept of CAR WASH....instead it was test drive a car off the lot!! lol FYI: I have had the song "AT THE CAR WASH" stuck in my head all day!!!

FUN FIELD DAY FRIDAY CONT'..............

Ewwwww.......grosssss......my Princess played at the mud table, and LOVED it!!! She even made me the best mud pie ever!! One little boy got mad at her because she accidentally slung mud on him (it was a very tiny bit) I couldn't help but to laugh to myself...lol

The Bubble Station, had soooo many different colors, and if someone would have cooperated we could have had some really cute pictures, but I take what I can and hope for the best!!!

A few extra pictures......the two top right KK was pouting because there were no bikes for her to ride and refuse to go to another station, she was hiding her face so I couldn't post it to FB...lol KK was not in the jumpy long, she said too many kids were in there being WILD!! We had to stop for a couple of water drinks to cool off, and even better they gave out popsicles and KK and her friend Chloe even got the same color!! We had such a fun day, I checked KK and Nono out early we went to IHOP for lunch and then we got a little bit of shopping done!!

These past few days have been a little rough for me, personally and spiritually...... and then I see this outside!!

It was like, God speaking to me and then I find a book in my car (which I am not really sure where or how it got there) and these are a few of the verses that stood out to me and I will keep them close to my heart to remind me who is ALWAYS in control;

...... and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, The Lord is my portion; therefore I WILL wait for him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:21-26

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, DO NOT FEAR; I WILL HELP YOU. Isaiah 41:13

We live by faith not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, FAITHFUL in prayer. Romans 12:12

and this last one is a verse I have held onto for as long as I can remember and it has ALWAYS pulled me through and will continue to do so.....

TANGLED FUN...............PART 2

Sorry, it has taken me a bit to get the 2nd part posted.....for some reason (and I have NO clue) my computer will not let me edit or post???? My Hubby was sweet enough to let me use his to play catch up, until I can figure mine out??? ANYWHOOO...

KK had lots of family and friends share her magical day! It looked like everyone had TANGLES of fun!!

I handed out goody bags, but they had to fill them up with the goodies......They had draw Flynn Rider's nose on their wanted posters to get Pascal filled with jelly beans, They had to either draw Rapunzel's hair or paint a scene to get a paint set, to get a Royal Star they had to find a princess crown and to get the magical flower rings you just had to find them since they are rare and very well hidden. My little nephew enjoyed the Buzz water gun that was in his goody bag.....lol

KK pouted because she was ready to open all her cool presents her friends had brought. Gan told her she had to be all smiles before she could open them (he smile appeared rather quickly) ha ha... she really received all kinds of cool stuff.....Tangled Tower, the boat, Tangled play set, book with magical brush, Gigi the doll and book (WITH STICKERS!!!!! as KK said), clothes, barbies, singing Rapunzel doll, Royal Princess bubbles, beach towels, Tangled flip flops, fancy jewelry box, games, Fancy Nancy bedroom, Sea Monkeys (that I can not wait to "help" her do) , and make up and of course her 2nd Tangled hair (her first one was really too tangled to even try an use anymore...lol) She honestly LOVED every single present she opened!!! THANK YOU!!!

The nights finale was to make a wish and send off our wish lanterns into the night sky in honor of our Princess KK's Birthday. The only problem was......it had to be a calm windLESS night, in which it was sooo NOT!! I was disappointed (you see this was my most favorite part I had been looking forward to!!) I was more excited than the kiddos were :( Then THANKS TO DENNIS V......he had an idea.....FISHING LINE!!!! YAY!! My disappointment quickly disappeared and excitement took over once again!!! It was quite ummmmm.....not sure whether to use the word exciting or comical???? either way it was not only MAGICAL, but THE BEST!!! well except for the part where we had a small fire.....the fuel pack fell out of the lantern and landed in our back yard....EVERYTHING is okay! We all whispered our wishes into our hands and when the lantern started to rise into the beautiful night sky we released our wishes as well.....

TANGLED FUN..............PART 1

We had sooooo much fun at Kk's Tangled party!! I think I had more fun than the kiddos did! KK wore her Rapunzel dress and would have wore her loooong blonde wig, but it was quite "tangled" and no longer wearable!! lol

This was the most amazing cake ever!!!! The best Birthday cake I ever had made!!!! Seriously!! Not only did my 11 year old nephew, Austin do a n absolutely AWESOME job!! But ALL his ideas and love went into it too!!! Thank you sooo much Austin D!! I am very Proud and love you bunches!!!!

KK's Grub Pub served up....crown in the satchel (pizza rolls), FlynnRider in a Tangle (pig in blankets), magical flowers (cheese puffs), Rapunzel's tower (chocolate covered pretzel sticks), fruit and apples for Maximus, and of course Rapunzel's cake!!

MARCH FOR BABIES 2011

We had about 31 walking with us this year, these are a few of the pictures I took. LOVED our shirts!!! CD you did a GREAT job!!! and I THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

And so the walk begins!!! We walked 3.5miles......well MOST of us walked 3.5 miles a few, WHOM I WILL NOT NAME!! THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE....lol cheated!!!!! and shaved off the last mile!!

KK'S FUN FIVE DAY.......

KK had a fun filled day of turning 5!!! I woke her up saying, Happy 5th Birthday my Princess....he response....I'm 5.....Yes sweet girl, you are now 5.......LIKE RIGHT NOW??? I AM 5 LIKE RIGHT NOW???? She told everyone and anyone who would look her way today is my Birthday I'm 5 now!! lol

She chose to go to Cracker Barrel for her Birthday lunch, but before we went in she stopped to smell the flowers!! These pictures do NOT give this precious moment with her and Gage justice, I guess you really had to be there to see how sweet a moment it was!!!

KK wanted Gan and Mawmaw to go with us, of course they would NEVER tell her no.....Daddy was even off and was able to go, Gage always goes with us too....she is like his Little Mama!! Mawmaw and Gan bought KK a Birthday skirt, that actually played HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It was too cool!! Not sure what Gan was telling her but, made her smile :) The waitresses came out with a chocolate sundae and sang Happy Birthday to her!!

Then we had some Mommie and Me time!!! She was soooo excited to sit in her own little pedi chair. I mean her own "Mermaid" chair. She picked out her own polish, thank goodness she changed her mind from the two bright reds she had picked out, and actually chose little girly colors teal and pink to match her Rapunzel shirt, from her Aunt Juju.

I told KK to say cheeeese.....she says I'MMMMMMM FIIIIIIVE!!!!

Gan called on my iPhone and sang Happy Birthday to his KK.....we only had to play it like 100 times!!! This girl LOVES her Gan!!! and I do too!!!

This is our 2011 Team!! Not Pictured with us is my Mom and Dad, they were feeling a little under the weather (they worked waaay to hard out in the yard the day before the walk), but I do have some pictures of them in their shirts!! I also do not see my older sister??? hmmmm....she must have taken this one so I will need to look for another group picture that someone else took??? I need to upload more pictures of the rest of our AWESOME day!! Sweet~Feet~for Brody raised over $2200 dollars for March For Babies this year!!!! Our district raised over $75000!! How awesome is that???

KK's CUPCAKES WITH PRE-K

Grandma, Gage and I took Tangled cupcakes to KK's class to celebrate her 5th Birthday. Her Birthday is actually tomorrow , but they have a field trip to Berry's Tree farm so we did cupcakes today :)

KK LOVED showing her "baby" cousin to all her friends. Gage LOVED all the cars in KK's class....even more so than cupcakes!!! He cried when it was time to clean up and go. Ms Hensley gave him a car to take home and he was all better!

KK helped pass out all the cupcakes and juice boxes. The class sang Happy Birthday to KK and even gave her a present AND she got to pick the "Dance of the Day" she chose Freeze Dance!!

SWEET~FEET~ FOR BRODY

EVERY BABY HAS A STORY AND THIS IS BRODY'S..........

I can not believe we only have 6 days left until our March For Babies walk! I think about our precious Angel every single day, but there is something about March For Babies that makes me feel closer to him, by honoring his memory and sharing his story. We can't take care of him as we would like to, here on earth with us, but we CAN honor him and share his story in hopes that it will touch someone's heart as it has ours, and the money we raise can save the lives of babies, all in the sweetest most precious memory of Brody Maddox Cyphers.

As most of you are aware that my nephew passed away at only 9 days old. For those that do not know, My sister, Julie had to have an emergency c~section at only 25 weeks, due to her health (HELLP syndrome). I was totally in love with all 1.4lbs!! He was a fighter he fought sooo hard for 9 days and on March 13,2008, Brody closed his eyes here on earth and was completely healed and in the arms of Jesus. I love him sooo much and think of him every single day. Brody has forever changed my heart.That is why I decided I wanted to walk In memory of Brody so he can continue to touch hearts, as he has touched mine. I will see him again one day, but until then I will keep his memory alive through March For Babies, because Every Baby Has A Story!!!
